Two Arrested in Kalmeshwar for Gold Mangalsutra Theft from Middle-Aged Women
LCB in Kalmeshwar arrested two robbers for stealing a gold mangalsutra from a woman, recovering cash and vehicles worth Rs 2.50 lakh.

Vidarbha, Kalmeshwar, India: The Local Crime Branch (LCB) apprehended two robbers who had stolen a gold mangalsutra from a middle-aged woman in Shikshak Colony, Brahmani, located in the Kalmeshwar area.
The LCB team confiscated Rs 40,000 in cash, a cellphone, a moped, and a Honda Activa scooter, all valued at a total of Rs 2.50 lakh, from the suspects. The accused have been identified as Nilesh alias Abhi Raju Kadbe (27), a resident of Samata Nagar, and Usman Akbar Khan (20), a resident of Kapil Nagar.
The accused, riding a Honda Activa, snatched a gold mangalsutra weighing approximately 1.5 tola from Kumud Dhote’s neck. The incident occurred while Kumud (47) was heading to a temple. She shouted for help, but the robbers fled the scene.
A case was filed at the Kalmeshwar Police station. Senior PI (LCB) Omprakash Kokate and PI Manoj Kalbande, along with their teams, apprehended the suspects under the supervision of SP Harssh Poddar and Additional SP Dhumal.
