Son of a retired Indian Army colonel, Veer Ahlawat is fighting a never-ending war of his own on two fronts. Should it be successful, the 28-year-old golfer from Gurugram will have access to a plethora of chances.

With a huge margin of more than ₹35 lakh, Ahlawat now tops the Order of Merit for the domestic Professional Golf Tour of India. He will receive a 2025 DP World Tour card if he wins the title after the TATA Steel Tour Championship in the third week of December.

He intends to play in seven of the upcoming eight weeks, having already participated in three of the previous four. Ahlawat expects that a pot of gold awaits him at the end of this arduous schedule.

The 6' 3" Ahlawat, who is participating in the Asian Tour's International Series Bangkok this week, stated: "It's a wonderful opportunity, and that's what us players always desire." I am now responsible for how I respond to the circumstances.

On Thursday at 11 a.m. IST, Ahlawat will play his opening round in the International Series Bangkok.
