Nagpur, India: The weather in Vidarbha, including Nagpur, is changing as February moves forward. While the days are getting hotter, the nights are becoming slightly cooler.

On Wednesday, Nagpur recorded a maximum temperature of 35.1°C, a 2-degree rise in just two days. The sun feels stronger, making the days warmer. Other districts like Chandrapur, Gadchiroli, Wardha, Amravati, and Akola also had high temperatures between 35°C and 36°C, with Washim recording the highest at 36°C. These temperatures are 2 to 3 degrees above normal, making the heat more noticeable.

At night, however, the temperature is dropping slightly. On Wednesday, Nagpur’s minimum temperature was 16.4°C, which is 3 degrees lower than before. Although still higher than usual, this shows that the cold weather is not completely gone. Akola and Bhandara also reported similar trends.

Most other districts are seeing night temperatures between 18°C and 20°C.

Weather experts say that cold northern winds might reach parts of Maharashtra, leading to a small drop in temperature in the early mornings, especially around 5 a.m. However, no big changes are expected, and Nagpur will continue to experience this mix of hot days and cool nights.
