Filmmaker Vinay Sapru, who directed Sanam Teri Kasam (2016) with Radhika Rao, said that if the film had been made in the 1990s, Salman Khan would have played the lead role.
In an interview with India Today, Sapru called Salman the “ultimate romantic hero” of that time. He said, “Salman had innocence in his eyes, the way he looked at and held his co-star, and his emotions were pure. He would have been the perfect Inder.”
He also praised Salman’s ability to make his co-stars look special. “If Salman was in the film, we would have cast a newcomer opposite him. His presence alone makes any actress stand out,” he added.
Sapru shared his admiration for Salman, saying, “Who wouldn’t want to work with him? He has been a superstar for over 30 years. We are waiting for the right script and time.”
Vinay Sapru and Radhika Rao had earlier worked with Salman Khan in Lucky: No Time for Love (2005), which starred Sneha Ullal. Fans are excited about the possibility of them working together again.
