Hemoglobin Testing Camp Organized for Police at Sakkardara Police Station

Nagpur, India: A haemoglobin testing camp was conducted at the Sakkardara Police Station in Nagpur today as part of the "War Against Anemia Campaign." The event, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM, aimed to provide essential health screenings for police personnel.

Under the supervision of Dr Jayashree Rathi and with medical services provided by Mr Sachin Pawar and his team from Fankhae India Pharmaceuticals Pvt. Ltd., the camp was organized for female officers and staff members of the Sakkardara Police Station.

Dr Rathi highlighted that stress and other factors could lead to low haemoglobin levels, causing symptoms such as fatigue, depression, memory issues, and decreased oxygen levels in the body. She offered guidance on managing and treating these health concerns.

The initiative was part of a broader effort to ensure that police officers, often under significant stress, maintain their health while fulfilling their duties. The camp was organized following the directives of the Nagpur City Police Commissioner and was overseen by the Additional Police Commissioner for Zone 4, Mr Vijaykant Sagar, and Police Inspector Anil Takasande. The successful execution of the camp was a collaborative effort involving Dr Rathi and Mr Pawar’s team, emphasizing the importance of regular health check-ups for police personnel.
