10-Year-Old Leaves Home Over No Party, Nagpur Police Celebrates His Birthday
Nagpur, India: The city police made a 10-year-old boy’s birthday special after he went missing for several hours on Thursday.
Sanchit Arvind Narad, a resident of Wathoda, left home around 11 am without telling anyone. His parents later told the police that he was upset because his family had not planned a birthday celebration.
At first, his family searched for him in the neighbourhood but could not find him. Worried, they went to the police station around 4 pm and reported him missing. The police quickly shared his details and started searching for him.
By evening, a patrolling constable found Sanchit near Swaminarayan Temple. Head Constable Shashikant and Constable Shailendra Singh informed the police station and spoke to the boy. He told them he was sad because his birthday was not being celebrated.
The police wanted to cheer him up. As they took him home, they arranged a birthday cake. To his surprise, the officers presented the cake, and he happily cut it while his family and the police cheered.
The Wathoda Police made sure Sanchit’s birthday was a happy and memorable one.
