12 Year Old Boy Falls from Second Floor While Flying Kite in Nagpur
Nagpur, India: A 12 Year Old Boy, Harshal Hitesh Khawas, fell from the second floor of a house while flying a kite in the Savarbaandhe Layout area of Hudkeshwar.
On January 3, while flying a kite from the second floor of his uncle’s house, he lost his balance and fell.
He suffered severe head injuries and was taken to a hospital in Medical Chowk, where his condition is reported to be stable.
According to police reports, Harshal Khawas had visited his maternal uncle’s house in the Savarbaandhe Layout area of Hudkeshwar. This is the first such incident in the city this year. Makar Sankranti, the festival of kites, will be celebrated on January 14.
The police have initiated a crackdown on vendors selling nylon manjha (kite string), and strict action will be taken against those flying kites with nylon manjha.
