Nagpur, India: A shocking incident occurred during a Garba event in the Narendra Nagar area, where a 17-year-old boy was allegedly kidnapped, assaulted, and extorted for money by three individuals, including a juvenile. The crime took place between the night of October 12 and the early morning of October 13, near Beltarodi Police Station.
The victim, identified as Prajwal Vipin Patil, a resident of Narendra Nagar, was attending the Garba celebration at Lakshavedh Ground when he encountered two acquaintances, Harshal Rajesh Shahu (19) from Balakrishna Nagar and Prayag Ravindra Meshram (19) from Mudranagar, Nagpur. Accompanied by a juvenile, the trio allegedly demanded money from Prajwal to buy drugs. When he refused, they forcibly confined him in a vehicle and drove him to the Pandit Havel area in Shankarpur. There, they verbally abused, physically assaulted, and threatened to kill him if he did not meet their demands.
