17-Year-Old Student Attacked with Knife in Pratap Nagar
Nagpur, India- A 17-year-old student, Yogesh Bandu Nandanwar, was viciously attacked with a knife on Pratap Nagar Cement Road without any prior dispute. Yogesh, a resident of Sai Nagar, Dighori, and a 12th-grade student, suffered severe injuries in the incident. The police have registered a case based on his complaint.
The accused in the case include Priyanshu Uttam Chavan (21) from Bara Signal, Imamwada, and Adi Anil Samudre (21), along with two minors. According to the police, Yogesh had attended a program on Pratap Nagar Cement Road with his friends Harsh, Aryan, and Prem when an argument broke out with some nearby youths.
The youths fled, but the accused mistook Yogesh for part of the opposing group. They later caught Yogesh and attacked him without any provocation. During the assault, one of the minors took out a knife and inflicted serious injuries on Yogesh’s head and chest.
Upon receiving information about the incident, the Pratap Nagar police arrived at the scene and Yogesh was immediately admitted to the hospital. The police have filed a case under various sections of the IPC and have arrested Priyanshu and Adi.
