18-Year-Old Girl Dies After Falling from Terrace During Phone Call
Nagpur, India- A tragic event occurred on Wednesday when 18-year-old student Mansi Ravindra Abedwar fell from the terrace of her rented house while talking on her cell phone and lost her life. This incident happened at a house near the Gopal Nagar bus stop, under Pratap Nagar Police Station.
Mansi, who had just passed her Class 12 exams and was preparing for an entrance exam, was on the roof around 2 PM, talking to a friend on the phone. Witnesses said she was sitting on the parapet wall with her legs hanging over the edge. A neighbour saw her and warned her family about the danger, but before they could act, Mansi lost her balance and fell.
During the fall, Mansi screamed and called out for her mother. Her mother and brother, who were in a front room on the first floor, ran out and found her on the ground, bleeding heavily. The family and neighbours quickly took Mansi to a nearby hospital, but she was declared dead on arrival. Police have recorded it as an accidental death and are investigating.
