24 Android phones were confiscated, 2 detained in case of phone theft
Two young people who were involved in stealing the phones of onlookers who were using their phones while crossing the street have been taken into custody by the Sitabuldi police. To date, the police have retrieved items valued at Rs 3.42 lakh, which comprised of 24 Android phones and the motorcycle that was utilized in the criminal act.
Residents of Tulsi Nagar, Bhandewadi, Rupesh Mahesh Yadav (19) and Karan Raju Pagare (18) have been named as the offenders who were detained.
The moped vehicle used in the crime, number MH 49 BY 3933, and 24 stolen cell phones are among the items valued at around Rs 3,42,000 that the police have retrieved from them.
