Nagpur: Brazen Thieves Steal Entire ATM, Making Off with ₹2.5 Lakh

Nagpur, India: In a surprising crime, thieves stole an entire ATM machine from a spot near Parshivni early Wednesday morning.
Around 5 AM, people noticed the ATM was missing from near the Bhanegaon Tea Point. It was located on a busy road.
A nearby security camera caught the whole thing. Around 1:30 AM, a white car stopped near the ATM. Three people got out and sprayed paint on the ATM's camera to block it. They also tried to cut the wire to another camera, but it didn't work.
Then, the thieves picked up the whole ATM machine and put it in their car. They drove away towards Parshivni.
Nilesh Raut, who takes care of the ATM, noticed it was gone during his morning walk. He called the police right away. He had put ₹1,72,000 (Indian Rupees) in the ATM on Tuesday. People took out ₹1,29,700, so there was ₹42,300 left inside. The ATM machine itself is worth ₹2,10,000. In total, the thieves stole about ₹2,52,300 (a little over $3,000 USD).
Police are now searching the area to try and find the thieves.
