38-Year-Old Found Dead in Ambazari Lake, Police Probe Suspects Suicide
Nagpur, India: A 38-year-old man named Aakash Namdeo Patil was found dead in Ambazari Lake on Friday morning. Patil, who lived at Plot No. 59, Vaibhav Nagar, Dabha, was discovered floating in the lake by locals around 8:30 a.m. near the Hanuman Temple in Futala Basti.
Upon spotting the body, a resident immediately notified the police. Officers from the Ambazari Police Station arrived at the scene and recovered Patil’s body from the water. The body was then sent to the Government Medical College & Hospital for a post-mortem examination.
The police have registered a case of accidental death after the hospital issued a medico-legal certificate (MLC). While the initial investigation suggests that the death might be a case of suicide, the police are thoroughly investigating all possible angles to determine the exact cause of death.
