50-Year-Old Property Agent Raped a Minor in Ajni Nagpur
Nagpur, India: A distressing incident has unfolded in Ajni, a 50-year-old property Agent, Arif Khan, has been arrested on charges of repeatedly sexually assaulting a 12-year-old girl and threatening to kill her mother. The accused is a resident of Tajamma Colony, Bada Tajbagh, and is under police custody after the minor's mother filed a complaint.
According to the police, the incident came to light when the victim's mother approached the accused to help her sell a plot in Nandanvan. Frequent visits of the accused in the victim's home, favoured the situation to build the family's trust. On the incident day in January, the minor was home alone, khan allegedly assaulted her, threatening to kill her mother if she disclosed the incident. The accused continued the assault on the minor till October.
On Saturday the accused raped her, victim filled with stress started crying. when her mother asked, she took the courage and narrated the whole incident to her mother, she quickly approached Ajni Police station and filed an FIR. The accused will be charged under the POCSO Act, investigation is underway.
