62-Year-Old Stabbed in Public While Trying to Resolve Argument in Ajni
Nagpur, India- A man was stabbed while attempting to settle a dispute at Tukdoji Chowk in the jurisdiction of Ajni police station. The victim, identified as Dilip Chhatrapati Jadhav (62), resides at Nityanand Bhavan, Bidipeth, and is a retired employee of the Bank of India.
Vinod Motiram Badge (58), who lives in the Adivasi Colony and owns Sudhakar Cycle Store at Tukdoji Chowk, has known Dilip for 20 years. Dilip frequently visited Vinod's shop three to four times a week. On Sunday at 8 PM, Dilip arrived at Vinod's shop and left around 8:30 PM to head home. As he went home on his moped, he saw a crowd in front of Pet's Paradise shop at Tukdoji Chowk. Vinod also approached the scene and found Dilip there.
Dilip told Vinod, "I will solve the dispute." Suddenly, Subhash Kamble (50), a resident of Chandramani Nagar, stabbed Dilip with a knife. Vinod rushed to help, and citizens nearby caught and beat Subhash. Vinod immediately took Dilip to the hospital.
Ajni police have registered a case against Subhash Kamble under the provisions of the IPC and have started an investigation.
