7-Year-Old Girl Lost her Life Falling from Vehicle in Pratap Nagar
Nagpur, India: On Tuesday evening, a seven-year-old girl lost her life after falling from a two-wheeler and coming under the rear wheels of a mini truck. The incident occurred on the road between Gopal Nagar and Padole Square, within the Pratap Nagar police jurisdiction.
The victim, identified as Prutha Akant Pande, was a resident of Pannase Layout, Gopal Nagar. She was on her way to a dance class around 5:30 PM, riding pillion on her grandfather’s two-wheeler.
According to the police, an unidentified vehicle struck the two-wheeler from behind, causing her grandfather to lose balance. Both fell to the road and tragically, Prutha was caught under the wheels of a passing mini truck. She sustained severe head injuries and was rushed to a nearby hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
Pratap Nagar police have registered a case against the unidentified vehicle and are investigating to locate the driver responsible for the hit-and-run.
