Accident At Beltarodi: Cyclist Injured, Motorcyclist Dead at Hospital
Nagpur, India- On August 4, 2024, at around 8:00 PM, an incident occurred involving a speeding and negligent motorcyclist. The victim, Abhijit Bholaji Pandharam, 24, a resident of Parsodi, opposite Mangalmurti Flat Scheme, Beltarodi, Nagpur, was riding a TVS Raider motorcycle with registration number MH 40 CU 4269. He collided with a cyclist named Khem Bahadur Kharki from Motha Hingna, Nagpur, near the rear dairy in the Parsodi area under the jurisdiction of Beltarodi Police Station.
The collision caused both the motorcyclist and the cyclist to fall, resulting in minor injuries to the cyclist and a severe head injury to Abhijit Pandharam. He was taken to AIIMS Hospital for treatment, where doctors declared him dead after examination.
Following a complaint filed by Aniket Bholaji Pandharam, 22, a resident of Parsodi, Nagpur, on August 5, 2024, the police at Beltarodi Police Station registered a case against the motorcyclist under sections 106(1), 281, and 125(a) of the IPC. The case is being investigated by Masfau Jayabhaye (9503294454). The investigation is ongoing.
