Actor Ravindra Berde, 78, Passes Away After Long Fight Against Throat
Beloved Hindi and Marathi actor, Ravindra Berde, passed away on December 13 after battling throat cancer for a long time. Despite undergoing treatment at Tata Hospital and returning home just two days before, he suffered a sudden heart attack. Berde, known for his roles in Bollywood movies like "Nayak: The Real Hero" and "Singham," alongside Anil Kapoor and Ajay Devgn, played Zamindar Chandrakant in the latter.
In his extensive career, Berde worked in over 300 Marathi films with well-known actors such as Ashok Saraf, Vijay Chavan, Vijoo Khote, and Mahesh Kothare. Some of his popular films include "Shodh," "Khatarnak," "Yeshwant," and "Khilona Bana Khalnayak."
Despite facing a heart attack in 1995 and being diagnosed with cancer in 2011, Berde continued entertaining audiences. He is survived by his wife, two children, daughter-in-law, and grandchildren. Ravindra Berde's contribution to cinema will be cherished and remembered.
