Actor Shreyas Talpade undergoes an Angioplasty after the Heart Attack
After fighting a heart attack and angioplasty, Bollywood actor Shreyas Talpade's condition is currently stable. The 47-year-old fainted after arriving home while filming his upcoming flick, "Welcome to the Jungle."
After being brought to Belle Vue Hospital in Andheri West, Mumbai, a close source of the actor disclosed that he had suffered a heart attack. This stunning revelation has since raised awareness of cholesterol and caused a health concern among young adults.
Dr. Sameer Dani, Director of Cardiology Services at Apollo Hospital in Ahmedabad, stated in an interview with HT Lifestyle, "I have seen that 80% of patients suffer from the impact that cholesterol levels have on cardiovascular health." Regretfully, the fact that so few people have been able to lower their LDL cholesterol levels raises concerns.
This emphasizes how crucial it is to differentiate between "good" and "bad" cholesterol. The advancement of heart disease can be halted by regularly monitoring and regulating cholesterol levels, especially LDL-C. A medical disorder called dyslipidemia, which is defined by abnormal blood levels of fats and cholesterol, may arise when there is an imbalance between the different forms of cholesterol.
