Advance Booking for Salman Khan's 'Tiger 3' Soars, Crossing ₹1 Crore Mark - Massive Anticipation Ahead of Diwali Release
Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif's highly anticipated film, Tiger 3, is generating significant buzz even before its release. The film's advance booking has opened up in limited cities in India, and early estimates suggest it has crossed the ₹1 crore mark. According to Sacnilk.com, around 33,090 tickets have already been sold, and full-fledged bookings will commence on Sunday. Notably, #Tiger3 has already crossed 1 Cr Gross in India for its Day 1 advance booking.
Film trade analyst Taran Adarsh has shared some early insights into the advance booking trend. PVR Inox, a prominent cinema chain, has already sold 7,500 tickets for Sunday's shows. In Delhi's Delite, 2,800 tickets have been sold, and in Hyderabad's Prasads, 1,470 tickets have been booked. This excitement is evident as some properties in Hyderabad have turned 'orange,' indicating strong advance bookings.
The advance bookings for Tiger 3 are starting on a highly positive note, and full-fledged bookings are yet to be initiated. The anticipation among fans, often referred to as 'Salmania,' is evident. In national chains like PVRInox, a remarkable 20,000 tickets have been sold for Day 1, while Cinepolis has sold 3,800 tickets, making the total count reach 23,800.
Tiger 3, directed by Maneesh Sharma, is the third installment in the popular franchise, following Ek Tha Tiger (2012) and Tiger Zinda Hai (2017). In this Yash Raj Films spy universe, Salman Khan reprises his role as agent Tiger, alongside Katrina Kaif as Zoya. Emraan Hashmi takes on the role of the prime antagonist. Additionally, Revathy is also part of the cast.
The film holds surprises for fans with cameo appearances by Shah Rukh Khan as his iconic character Pathaan and Hrithik Roshan as Kabir from The War. This is an unprecedented collaboration of Salman, Shah Rukh, and Hrithik in a YRF film. Tiger 3 is set to release on November 12, coinciding with the Diwali festive week. It's poised to be a thrilling installment in the action-packed Tiger franchise.
