After the Breakup, an Angry Lover Set Fire to his Gf's Workplace
Nagpur: An 18-year-old boy set fire to the shop within the jurisdiction of the Tahsil police station where his girlfriend was working after their breakup. The incident occurred on May 1st, and the suspect was arrested the same day. The owner of the shop, Ritesh Makhija, suffered a loss of 7 lakh rupees due to the fire.
The suspect has been identified as Prakash Ramesh Chatte, who used to do odd jobs like daily labour and helping out in shops to make ends meet. The victim, a 17-year-old girl, used to work as a helper at Makhija's shop. Tahsil police station Police Inspector Sandeep Buva explained that the suspect had been constantly harassing the girl and suspected that she was having an affair with someone else. "The victim was fed up with constant suspicion and resulting arguments. Therefore, she decided to end their relationship.
However, the suspect did not want that, which led him to come to the shop where the victim worked in an attempt to reconcile. But the victim was not at the shop that day. Frustrated and angry, the suspect set the shop on fire
