Airtel and Blinkit Launch 10-Minute SIM Card Delivery Service Across 16 Cities

In a groundbreaking move, Bharti Airtel has partnered with Blinkit, a quick commerce platform, to deliver SIM cards to customers’ doorsteps in just 10 minutes. This unique service, launched today, is now available in 16 cities across India, with plans to expand further in the coming months.
Under this partnership, customers can order both prepaid and postpaid SIM cards through Blinkit’s platform for a nominal convenience fee of ₹49. Once the SIM card is delivered, customers can easily activate their new number using an Aadhaar-based self-KYC process. Additionally, the service allows users to opt for mobile number portability (MNP) to switch to Airtel’s network.
The process is designed to be simple and hassle-free. To further enhance customer experience, Airtel provides an online activation guide and offers support through its Airtel Thanks app. For additional assistance, customers can call Airtel’s help center at 9810012345. The SIM card must be activated within 15 days of delivery to ensure smooth usage.
