Ajinkya Rahane-Led Mumbai Team to Begin Practice in Nagpur

Nagpur, India: The Mumbai cricket team has arrived in Nagpur for the Ranji Trophy semi-final against Vidarbha, set to take place at VCA Jamtha Stadium from February 17. The team, led by Ajinkya Rahane, includes star players like Suryakumar Yadav, Yashasvi Jaiswal, Shivam Dube, and Shardul Thakur. They will hold a practice session at VCA Civil Lines before the big match.
Yashasvi Jaiswal, who recently played for India, has joined the squad, adding strength to the Mumbai team. Vidarbha, led by Akshay Wadkar, remains undefeated this season and recently secured a dominant 198-run victory over Tamil Nadu in the quarter-finals. Mumbai, on the other hand, defeated Haryana by 152 runs in their quarter-final match in Kolkata.
This semi-final will be a repeat of last season’s Ranji Trophy final, where Mumbai clinched their 42nd title. With both teams in great form, an exciting clash is expected.
