Amit Kumar appreciates the Indian Idol14 performer Piyush Pawar

Piyush Panwar, a contestant on "Indian Idol 14," mesmerized the audience with his beautiful performance of "Aake Seedhi Lage Dil Pe Jaise." Singer and actor Amit Kumar also shared memories of singing the song in Kolkata when he was a teenager.
The late, great singer Kishore Kumar is the father of Amit. In the presence of Amit, the singing reality show honored the life of Kishore Kumar with a special episode named "Hum, Aap Aur Kishore."

In a humble tribute to Kishore Kumar, who is widely considered as one of the best and most energetic vocalists in the history of Indian music, the finalists sang unforgettable songs of prominent music composers who have collaborated with Kishore Da.

The 1962 movie "Half Ticket" featured a song called "Aake Seedhi Lage Dil Pe Jaise," which Rajasthan's Piyush performed while acting out the scenes in the same manner as Kishore Da did in the original production. Everyone was praising his performance. Amit complimented Piyush, saying, "This song is very difficult to sing." When I was a teenager, I would sing this song in Kolkata. I'm extremely proud of you for your amazing performance of the song! However, I would like to know why you selected this particular music.

Piyush responded to Amit by saying, "I am a huge fan of Kishore Da and I know all of his songs." "Aake Seedhi Lage Dil Pe Jaise" sounded like a challenge when I saw the song list, and I wanted to sing both the male and female versions of the song as a playback singer.

Lata Mangeshkar was meant to sing the song alongside Kishore Da, but she was unable to attend the recording. As a result, Kishore Da assumed the role of singing the song's male and female renditions. Amit continues.
