Amit Shah to Meet with BJP Officials Across Maharashtra as Elections Approach
Nagpur, India: Union Home Minister Amit Shah is set to begin a two-day visit to Maharashtra on September 24, starting in Nagpur. This visit comes as the state prepares for upcoming Assembly elections.
Shah will meet with Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) workers and is anticipated to finalize the seat-sharing arrangements among the Mahayuti allies. His schedule includes discussions with party officials in Nagpur and Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar (formerly Aurangabad), followed by meetings in Nashik and Kolhapur on September 25.
In preparation for the elections, a crucial meeting of BJP officials from the Vidarbha division is planned for September 24 at the Suresh Bhat Auditorium in Reshimbagh, Nagpur, starting at 11 am. Ahead of Shah's arrival, Vidarbha Organising Secretary Dr. Upendra Kothekar held a special meeting with key officials at the divisional office in Dhantoli.
State Vice-President Sanjay Bhende and City President Bunty Kukde announced that Shah will have direct communication with the leaders of all 62 Vidhan Sabha constituencies in Vidarbha. Prominent leaders, including Union Minister Nitin Gadkari, Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, and State President Chandrashekhar Bawankule, are also expected to attend the meeting.
