The film, released on Friday, received praise and is projected to earn ₹60.92 crore nett across all languages on Saturday.
According to Sacnilk.com, "Animal" had an impressive start, raking in ₹63.8 crore on its opening day, with contributions from Hindi (₹54.75 crore), Telugu (₹8.55 crore), Tamil (₹40 lakh), Kannada (₹9 lakh), and Malayalam (1 lakh). The cumulative collection is expected to reach ₹124.72 crore by Saturday.
Even with the clash with Meghna Gulzar's "Sam Bahadur," "Animal" has demonstrated strong performance at the box office. The movie explores the dynamics of a father-son relationship, portrayed by Anil and Ranbir Kapoor. Ranbir's character is depicted as protective and obsessive, willing to confront anyone hindering his love for his father.
