Anushka Sharma Chuckles at Being Referred to as 'Mrs. Kohli'
At a recent event, Bollywood star Anushka Sharma was addressed by paparazzi as ‘Mrs Kohli’, which resulted in a humorous reaction from her. A video clip posted by a celebrity paparazzo depicted Anushka in a stunning black dress, walking on the red carpet.
Upon her arrival, the photographers started shouting her husband’s name and referred to her as ‘Mrs Kohli’ to capture her attention. Anushka, laughing at the situation, asked the photographers to calm down and give her a moment to recover from their shouting the previous day.
She also stated that her ears were ringing from their shouting. The photographers complimented her on her presence at events, to which Anushka responded, ‘my ears are ringing’.
Recently, Anushka and her husband, Indian cricketer Virat Kohli, merged their foundation to launch a joint non-profit initiative that aims to assist those in need. Anushka is set to appear in the upcoming Netflix film ‘ChakdaXpress’, which is based on the life of Jhulan Goswami, one of the fastest female pacers in the history of world cricket.
Despite numerous obstacles, the film depicts how Jhulan succeeded in fulfilling her dream of playing cricket and rose to become the captain of the Indian women’s national cricket team, inspiring aspiring cricketers in the country. In 2018, Jhulan was honoured with an Indian postage stamp, and she holds the world record for the highest number of wickets taken by a woman in an international career.
