Ashish NX Seized After Owners Fail to Pay ₹13.27 Lakh in Taxes
Nagpur, India: The Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC) has seized Ashish NX, a property in Sitabuldi, due to an unpaid property tax of ₹13.27 lakh. The property, owned by Smt. Purnima Vishwanathrao Buti and others, is occupied by Goyal Ganga Infrastructure & Real Estate Pvt. Ltd.
Despite multiple notices, the tax remained unpaid. As a result, NMC officials carried out the seizure on 6th March 2025 at the property in Dhantoli Zone No. 04, Ward No. 03. The owners were given a chance to pay the dues but were unable to do so.
NMC has been taking strict action against tax defaulters in the city to recover pending payments. Officials have warned that more properties may face similar action and urged owners to clear their dues to avoid seizure or auction.
