Bageshwar Maharaj cleared of superstition charges by Nagpur Police
Nagpur police have recently cleared Dhirendra Shastri, also known as Bageshwar Dham Baba, of superstition charges. This decision was made after an investigation into a satsang program that was held in the city between January 5 and 11. The program was organized by Shastri, who is a popular spiritual leader in the area.
During the program, Shyam Manav, the vice-president of the Andhashraddha Nirmulan Samiti, made accusations that Shastri was spreading superstition among attendees. The Andhashraddha Nirmulan Samiti is an organization that aims to eradicate superstition and blind faith in society.
In response to these accusations, Nagpur police launched an investigation and analyzed video clips of the satsang program to determine if there was any concrete evidence of superstitious activities taking place. After a thorough examination, the police found no such evidence and concluded that the accusations were unfounded.
Commissioner of Police (CP) Amitesh Kumar publicly announced the decision to clear Shastri of all charges, stating that the police had found no concrete evidence of superstitious activities at the satsang program. This decision serves as a reminder that individuals are innocent until proven guilty and that accusations of wrongdoing should be thoroughly investigated before any conclusions are made.
