Body of Missing Man Found in Hingna Well After 4 Days
Nagpur, India: A 31-year-old man, upset about not getting married, ended his life by jumping into a well in the Hingna area. The deceased, identified as Raju Gendal Godge, was a resident of Dhanagarpura and worked as a daily wage labourer.
Raju had been feeling stressed about his marriage prospects for some time. His family noticed his sadness in the past few days. He left home on the evening of 22 March and did not return. After searching for him without success, his family filed a missing person report at Hingna Police Station.
On 26 March, around 11:30 am, a body was found floating in a well in a nearby field. A local resident informed the police, who arrived at the spot, retrieved the body, and conducted a panchanama. The body was then sent for post-mortem.
The police have registered a case of accidental death and are investigating further.
