Burglary at Chandani Plastic Factory in Koradi Steals ₹11.10 Lakh of Valuables

Nagpur, India: A robbery was reported in the Koradi area of Nagpur, where a thief broke into a factory and stole machinery and materials worth ₹11.10 lakh. The incident occurred at Chandani Plastic, a factory owned by Vishal Kailas Virwani, 35, a resident of Bharat Complex, Jaripatka, Nagpur.

The robbery happened on November 28, 2024, till January 11, 2025, when the factory, located behind Mahalakshmi Drum Company in Kavtha-Mhasala, was closed. Upon returning, Virwani found the lock on the factory door broken.

The thief entered the premises and stole 11 high-power machines, motors, machine parts, and various plastic materials.

Based on Virwani’s complaint, the Koradi police have registered a case under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code. Sub-Inspector Kadke is leading the investigation and working to identify the perpetrator.

Police have appealed to the public for information that could help in solving the case. The investigation is ongoing.
