Businessman Robbed of Rs 3 Lakh After Goons Throw Chilli Powder in His Eyes

Nagpur, India: A businessman was robbed of Rs 3 lakh in cash by two men who threw chilli powder in his eyes. The incident took place on Saturday evening when Darshan Jeevandas Kingrani (32), owner of a hardware shop in Lakadganj, was heading home after closing his shop.
As he was travelling on Itwari Mall Dhakka Road, one of the attackers, Mohsin alias Garam Dildar Khan (30), hit Kingrani on the head with a stick, while his partner, Shahu, threw chilli powder into his eyes. As Kingrani fell, Shahu grabbed the cash and ran away.
Hearing Kingrani's screams, people nearby rushed to help. While Shahu escaped, Mohsin pulled out a knife to threaten the crowd. However, the bystanders managed to overpower him, took the knife, and handed him over to the police.
Mohsin, from Yashodhara Nagar, has a criminal record and was previously jailed for robbery and assault. Police are now searching for Shahu, who is still on the run.
