CCTV Captures Attack on Nagpur Jeweller; Threaten to Slit His Throat

Nagpur, India: A bullion trader in Nagpur was attacked by a group of miscreants after he asked them to stop fighting and using bad language outside his shop. The goons not only beat him up but also damaged his shop and later threatened to kill him. When a policeman tried to stop them, they pushed him as well. The entire incident was recorded on CCTV.

The incident happened in the Lakadganj area, where the trader, Padmakar Rupchand Parate, has been running his jewellery shop for 25 years. On the day of the attack, some people were fighting and shouting outside his shop while women customers were inside. At first, he ignored them, but when they continued, he asked them to stop as it was making his customers uncomfortable.

Instead of stopping, the miscreants got angry and attacked him. They vandalised his shop using bricks, stones, and rods, breaking things inside. A policeman passing by tried to intervene, but the goons pushed him and continued their attack. Before running away, they even threatened to kill the trader.

By the time the police team arrived, the attackers had fled. However, some of them have been arrested, and police are searching for the others using CCTV footage. The incident has raised concerns in the area, and people are demanding strict action against the accused.
