Central Railway Nagpur to Open 'Rail Coach Restaurants' at Six More Stations
Nagpur, India- In an exciting move to enhance the dining experience for passengers and residents, the Central Railway Nagpur Division will soon introduce ‘Rail Coach Restaurants’ at six additional stations. These unique dining establishments will be set up in modified coaches mounted on rails, providing a distinctive ambience for diners.
The stations selected for the new ‘Rail Coach Restaurants’ are Ajni, Wardha, Amla, Betul, Chandrapur, and Ballarshah. The contracts for these establishments will be awarded through an e-auction process.
"The 'Rail Coach Restaurant' is a modified coach mounted on rails, designed to offer a fine-dining experience with a distinctive rail-themed ambience. It can accommodate over 40 patrons, providing a memorable setting for diners," said a railway spokesperson.
The interiors of these coaches are meticulously decorated to enhance the rail-themed dining experience, allowing guests to immerse themselves in the unique atmosphere.
The introduction of these rail coach restaurants is part of Central Railway's ongoing efforts to improve passenger amenities and provide innovative services at railway stations. This initiative is expected to attract more visitors to the stations, offering them a unique and enjoyable dining experience.
