Chandrapur's Children’s Academy Celebrates Success at ‘One Student One Tree’ Competition
Vidarbha, Chandrapur, India: Children’s Academy English Medium School received awards at the ‘One Student One Tree’ competition organized by the Chandrapur Municipal Corporation (CMC).
The CMC held the competition to foster environmental values among students and promote biodiversity in the city. A total of 74 schools participated, with registered students receiving saplings of various species to plant at home. They were instructed to care for the saplings for at least one year and submit photos of their progress to the CMC.
Meanwhile, Children’s Academy emerged as the leader in the competition, with 414 students planting saplings. A lucky draw was recently conducted at the CMC Auditorium, attended by Vipin Paliwal, the Commissioner of the CMC.
Anushka Jadhav, Ishant Shastrakar, Trisha Bhoyar, Niyati Satre, Shourya Ghumde, Tejashree Umathe, Aradhya Padgelwar, Atif Khan, Pranay Ghouri, and Karmarkar were awarded prizes. The top five winning schools will also receive certificates of appreciation. A large number of teachers and students, including Ravindra Bhelave, the Deputy Commissioner, Ravindra Kalambe, Nagesh Neet, and Chaitanya Choure, were present at the event.
