CM Eknath Shinde Warns Manoj Jarange, promises to reveal Conspiracy
Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde cautioned Maratha quota activist Manoj Jarange on Sunday, urging him not to provoke the state government with unfounded accusations against Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis.
Shinde, addressing the issue, also made veiled remarks towards Nationalist Congress Party leader Sharad Pawar and Shiv Sena's Uddhav Thackeray while responding to Jarange's claims.
Jarange, speaking earlier in the day at Antarwali Sarati, alleged that Fadnavis was plotting against him and claimed there was an attempt on his life through poisoning, although he provided no further details.
Expressing his stance, Shinde stated, "Those who persistently oppose the government should not test our patience or disrupt law and order. It's intriguing how Jarange's rhetoric resembles the usual script of Sharad Pawar and Uddhav Thackeray." He made these comments to reporters ahead of the Maharashtra Legislature session.
When questioned about Jarange's aggressive behavior and use of offensive language, Shinde assured that appropriate legal action would be taken. He labeled the situation as an ongoing conspiracy that would soon be exposed.
Earlier, Deputy CM Fadnavis mentioned that the state government is aware of the individuals associated with Jarange's actions, promising that details would be revealed in due course.
Regarding Jarange's declaration of marching to Mumbai to protest in front of Fadnavis' residence, Fadnavis clarified that it is his official dwelling and open to anyone with legitimate business.
