Construction of Cement Roads to Impact Traffic on Major Nagpur Roads
Nagpur, India- The construction of cement roads is about to begin in the city, affecting traffic on three major routes. Work orders for these roads were issued before the code of conduct was implemented, and permission is now being sought to halt traffic for the commencement of construction.
The Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC) has issued a notification to stop vehicular movement on the following roads:
Manish Nagar Railway Crossing to Pawanbhoomi Main Road
Mahadev Mandir Road
Humpyard Road to Lokmat Chowk (Balraj Marg)
Anand Talkies to Dhantoli Police Station (to Bridge)
Traffic will be restricted on these routes until October 31 to allow for the construction of cement concrete roads. The NMC plans to build cement concrete roads on Manish Nagar Railway Crossing to Pawanbhoomi Main Road and Mahadev Mandir Road. During this construction, traffic will be fully blocked from Mr. Garg’s house to Mr. Sudam’s house and from the field to Mr. Ghule’s house.
On Humpyard Road to Lokmat Chowk (Balraj Marg), a cement concrete road will be constructed from Vijay Anand Society to Dinanath School, limiting traffic on this section.
For the stretch from Anand Talkies to Dhantoli Police Station, construction will start on the left side of the road, with traffic diverted to the right side. Once the left side is completed, construction will shift to the right side, and traffic will be rerouted accordingly.
