Construction of Panchsheel Bridge Completed, Opening Soon

Nagpur, India: The National Highway division of the Public Works Department (PWD) has wrapped up the construction of the Panchsheel Bridge on Wardha Road. PWD sources have confirmed that the bridge construction is finished, with only the cleanup of debris and final touches remaining. The PWD has completed laying the concrete slab over the Britisera nullah, applying DTP mastic asphalt, and other finishing touches.

According to a report on April 23, the right lane of the bridge has been completed and is now open for public use. However, the left lane is still under construction and is expected to take about 15 more days to open, possibly before May 10th. Both lanes have not been opened simultaneously due to space constraints caused by the pillars of the Gowari Bridge. Despite this, the total length of the Panchsheel Bridge remains unchanged at 24 meters.
