Managing menstrual discomfort can be challenging, particularly in the early months of a woman's cycle. Mood swings and depression are also common during the menstrual cycle when there is lower abdomen pain.

On the other hand, we can guarantee that our bodies grow as optimally as possible and that we have all the energy we need to get through the day with the correct nutrition.

In a YouTube video, celebrity nutritionist Rujuta Diwekar discussed the everyday foods we need to eat in order to provide our bodies the right nourishment.

1. Ragi ladoo: To give the body the recommended daily intake of calcium, iron, vitamin B, and protein that can aid with dietary supplementation, we should concentrate on eating ragi ladoo rather than biscuits. 

2. Snacking on peanuts: Consuming a small amount of peanuts on a daily basis guarantees that the body gets enough protein, fiber, vitamin B6, and many other minerals.

3. Juice from lemons or amla: We need to drink a glass of gooseberry or lemon juice every day rather than bingeing on sugary beverages.

4. Buttermilk or curd: Increasing the beneficial bacteria in the body can be achieved by regularly consuming a bowl of curd or a glass of buttermilk. 

5. A fresh fruit each day: Every day, we have to eat at least one fresh fruit. 

6. Black raisins or dates: Eating either one of these foods can help reduce the symptoms of menstruation discomfort. It also aids in maintaining bodily satiety.
