Crime Branch Unit 4 Arrested a Wanted Murder Suspect from Chandrapur
Nagpur, India: The Crime Branch Unit 4 of Nagpur Police arrested a suspect wanted for murder in Chandrapur. The arrest occurred late at night around 11:00 PM in the Nandanvan area.
The suspect, identified as Surendrakumar Rampati Yadav, 36, was apprehended after officers received a reliable tip-off. Yadav had been evading arrest in connection with a murder case under the Ramnagar Police Station, Chandrapur. He was found residing at a rented house in Darshan Colony, Nandanvan.
Yadav was reportedly part of a group involved in illegal activities, including possession of firearms and other deadly weapons. Following his arrest, the suspect was handed over to the Ramnagar Police Station for further investigation and legal proceedings.
This successful operation was carried out under the supervision of the Deputy Commissioner of Police (Detection) and the Assistant Commissioner of Police (Crime Branch), with Police Inspector Ramesh Tale and Assistant Police Inspector Avinash Jaybhaye leading the team.
