Deputy CM Devendra Fadnavis Vows Action on Shivaji Nagar Bar/Pub Issue

Nagpur, India- On May 25, Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis promised action against the growing problems caused by bar and pub establishments in Shivaji Nagar. This assurance came during a meeting on Saturday with a 20-member delegation from the Shivaji Nagar Youth Group, led by Mr. Alok Goenka and BJYM State Vice President Mrs. Shivani Dani Vakhre.

Residents of Shivaji Nagar have been facing numerous issues due to the patrons of these bars and pubs. The concerns raised include rash driving, illegal parking blocking residential entrance gates, and instances of vandalism. Recently, Mr. Goenka's property was trespassed and vandalized by three customers from the pubs on Cement Road.

The youth delegation included prominent local figures such as Adv. Abhishek Naik, CA Akhil Trivedi, Rohit Matade, Kunal Duddalwar, Nikhil Salpekar, Nahush Badge, Harsh Shah, Yash Hastak, Prashant Dahikar, Kaustubh Deeve, Asheesh Wadhwa, Adv. Ankit Nigam, Piroj Pharaskhanewala, Mahesh Vaidya, Robin Agrawal, Himanshu Sakariya, Saurabh Tamne, Gagandeep Sethi, and CA Raghav Gokhale.

During the meeting, Fadnavis listened to the delegation's concerns and assured them that appropriate measures would be taken to address the issues. The Deputy CM's commitment to resolving these problems has given hope to the residents of Shivaji Nagar who have been struggling with the disruptive behaviour of bar and pub patrons.
