The Nagpur Anime Club is thrilled to present the Coscon Halloween, the biggest Geek Fest in Central India. This dedicated gathering for Fanatics from Nagpur is scheduled for October 28th and 29th, 2023, at the Tripude College Ground. On the 29th of October, the event will feature special appearances by Voice Over Artist Ankur Javeri and Vaibhav Thakkar, making it a day not to be missed!
Ankur Javeri is Indian actor and voice artist with an illustrious career span over 35 years. He is recognized as one of the co-founders and former president of the Association of Voice Artists (AVA).
Throughout his career, Ankur has lent his voice to over 1,000 television commercials and served as the distinctive brand voice for more than 30 leading brands. Additionally, he has provided voiceovers for over 5,000 television promos.
Notably, Ankur holds the prestigious position as the official voice for prominent entities such as Star Sports, Zee5, Disney Plus Hotstar, and has been the voice behind Virat Kohli's commercials and TV promos for over 12 years. He is also the recognized voice for the renowned South Indian movie superstar, Mahesh Babu, in both his launch feature film that was in 1999 and many other television commercials.
When it comes to Anime Series, he is renowned as the voice actor behind Goku in popular shows like Dragon Ball Z, Dragon Ball Z Kai, and Dragon Ball Super, extending to voicing Robin in the 2003 Teen Titans series.
Additionally, he is happily married to Pamela Mukherjee, who shares his profession as a voice-over artist, she has also given voice to famous characters including, The Power puff girls “Bubbles”, Olive Oly character in Popeye and Tweety bird and Sylvester for Looni Toons.
Vaibhav Thakkar, a talented young actor and voice artist, has made a name for himself through his remarkable work. He is widely recognized for his exceptional voice acting in the Spiderman series. Additionally, he portrayed the character "Sushrut" in the popular web series titled "Kota Factory" and took on the role of "Pawan Poojan" in the year 2020. His television credits include an appearance on the show "Palak Pe Jhalak" back in 2015.
Vaibhav Thakkar's impressive career is highlighted by a significant list of achievements, particularly in the realm of voice acting. He lent his voice to the character "Babloo" in "Roll No. 21" and brought life to Ashoka in the animated film "Ashoka the Hero." When it comes to television animation series, he's the voice behind beloved characters such as Mowgli, Phineas, Linus, Roary, Jake, and Ben, Tyson from Beyblade and Luffy in One piece live action. Weebs relates to his voice over and it’s gives thrill chill as you watch.
