District Youth Festival to begun from 22 November at Mankapur Sports Complex
The Mankapur Sports Complex in Nagpur will host the District Level Youth Festival starting on November 22. The purpose of the event is to provide emerging athletes and cultural talent with opportunity.
Dr. Vipin Itankar, the district collector of Nagpur, called a conference to discuss the festival preparations. He urged young people to attend the festival in huge numbers. The United Nations has declared this year to be the International Year of Millets, and millets will be the festival's central topic.
Along with competitions in a variety of sports, the festival will feature folk dances, solo dances, solo folk songs, short story writing, poster contests, elocution contests, photography, and more.
