Doctors from AIIMS Nagpur successfully reattached a hand of the Patient

A claw that broke off from a hand has been successfully reattached by medical professionals at AIIMS in Nagpur. After receiving treatment for roughly 25 days, the young man was released. The young man will soon be able to use his hands as well. Physicians think that there aren't many cases of this kind of surgery in medical history.

A Pusad youth, age 38, was tinkering with a compressor. The claw broke off when the hand abruptly moved inside and fell to the opposite side. The right hand's claw separated, causing blood to start gushing. The family members drove him to a Pusad doctor right away. He should be taken to AIIMS, the doctor said. admitted on October 13 at 10:00 a.m. to AIIMS. The physicians told the family that an operation will be performed right away because the condition was serious.

Preparations for the procedure were initiated by plastic surgeons Drs. Dhananjay Nakade, Al Ikayan Fidvi, and Avinash Prakash of AIIMS, as well as deafness specialist Dr. Natasha. Joining the hand claw was challenging because it was totally detached. This kind of operation has very little likelihood of success.

The procedure took roughly nine hours, and although the claw was attached, the upper portion of the thumb was not salvageable because of the wound. Care was made to guarantee a steady flow of blood. After receiving treatment for 25 days, the patient was released. The patient then folded his hands and thanked the doctors.
