Double Murder in Sitabuldi: Two Men Stabbed to Death, Accused Held
Nagpur, India: Two men lost their lives in a violent knife attack on Wednesday night in the Vasantrao Naik Slum area, under Sitabuldi Police Station limits. The accused, identified as Chandu, has been arrested by the police.
The victims have been identified as Sagar Masram and Laxman Gode. According to police, Sagar was a known history-sheeter and had previously been externed from Nagpur due to his criminal background. He and the accused had an ongoing dispute.
On Wednesday night, a heated argument between the three turned deadly when Chandu allegedly attacked Sagar and Laxman with a sharp weapon. Both victims were rushed to the hospital with serious injuries but were declared dead during treatment.
Following the incident, Sitabuldi police quickly launched an investigation and took Chandu into custody. The motive behind the double murder is still under investigation, and further action is being taken.
The incident has created tension in the local community, with residents demanding stricter safety measures in the area.
