Nagpur, India: The Nagpur Police have banned the use of drones near the Sangh Headquarters, which is located within the Mahal. Police Commissioner Dr. Ravindra Singal issued the order on Friday, warning of strict action against violators.
The decision comes as a precautionary measure to ensure the security of the sensitive location. With a busy market nearby and frequent foot traffic, authorities are concerned about the potential misuse of drones, particularly during the ongoing wedding season. There is a risk that drones could be used under the pretense of capturing celebrations to film restricted areas of the headquarters.
Photography and videography of the Sangh Headquarters have long been prohibited, and this drone ban further reinforces these restrictions. Residents and visitors are urged to follow the order to help maintain the security and privacy of the area.
