Fadnavis, Bawankule, Mohan Mate, and Krishna Khopde Set to File Nominations Tomorrow
Nagpur, India: BJP Maharashtra president Chandrashekhar Bawankule and deputy chief minister Devendra Fadnavis will both file their nominations for the upcoming assembly elections on October 25. Bawankule, the party's candidate from Kamptee, shared this news on Wednesday.
City BJP president Bunty Kukde confirmed that Fadnavis, Bawankule, and two other sitting MLAs, Mohan Mate (Nagpur South) and Krishna Khopde (Nagpur East), will submit their papers on the same day. Before filing, the leaders will gather at 9 a.m. at Samvidhan Chowk to honor Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar with floral tributes.
Union minister Nitin Gadkari will also attend the event, and Kukde encouraged BJP members and supporters to show up in large numbers to back their leaders. This group nomination aims to highlight the BJP’s strong leadership in Maharashtra, particularly in the Vidarbha region, which is a critical area in the election.
