Faizan Sheikh Banned from Nagpur City for 6 Months Over Crimes

In a significant move to curb the criminal activities of a habitual offender, Faizan Sheikh, a 24-year-old resident of Lakadganj area, has been banned from entering Nagpur city and its resident for a period of six months. The decision, made by Shri Mahak Swami, Deputy Commissioner of Police, Police Circle No. 03A, Nagpur, came after a proposal was submitted by the Lakadganj Police Station.

Faizan Sheikh, son of Anwar Sheikh, has been involved in several criminal offenses, including intimidation, physical assault, housebreaking, theft, illegal sale of alcohol, possession of deadly weapons, and threats of violence. Despite repeated preventive actions, Sheikh’s criminal behavior has shown no signs of improvement, prompting the authorities to take this stringent step to ensure peace and order in the locality.

The banned period, starting from November 26, 2024, and lasting until May 26, 2025, restricts Faizan Sheikh from entering both Nagpur city and the Nagpur rural areas. In case he is found within these jurisdictions, the public has been advised to immediately inform the Police Control Room atdial 112.

This action aims to reduce the impact of Faizan Sheikh’s repeated criminal behavior and ensure the safety and security of residents in the region.
