FIIT-JEE Coaching Institute Shuts Down, 60 Parents Duped of ₹76.75 Lakh

Nagpur, India: A case has been registered against the operator of FIIT-JEE coaching institute in Nagpur for allegedly cheating 60 parents out of ₹76.75 lakh. The institute collected tuition fees from students but suddenly shut down, leaving parents and students in shock.
According to the complaint filed by Nilesh Premnarayan Khandelwal, a resident of Maskasath, Lalganj Road, Itwari, Nagpur, and 59 other parents, the accused, D.K. Goyal from New Delhi, was running FIIT-JEE coaching classes in Old Nandanvan, Kotwali.
Goyal had taken fees for two years from students preparing for competitive exams. However, on January 1, 2025, at around 10:00 AM, he closed the institute without warning and disappeared.
After receiving complaints, Kotwali Police registered a case against Goyal under BNS Sections 318(4) and 316(2). Authorities are now searching for him and working to recover the lost money.
