Fire Breaks Out at Joyosen Techno Chemical Company in Khairi, Nagpur
Nagpur, India: A sudden fire erupted at the Joyosen Techno Chemical Company in the Khairi area of Bazargaon, located along the National Highway, on Wednesday afternoon. The blaze also spread to the company's waste material dumping yard, where accumulated bad oil caught fire, sending thick clouds of smoke into the air. This caused panic among local residents, who gathered at the scene.
Firefighting teams from Wadi Nagar Parishad, Maharashtra Airport Development Company (MIHAN), MIDC Hingana, and Vanadongari rushed to the site after receiving alerts. Firefighters used liquid foam and water to control the flames. After two hours of intensive efforts, the fire was finally brought under control. Fortunately, there were no reports of casualties.
The incident occurred around 3:00 pm, but thanks to the quick response from emergency teams, a larger disaster was averted. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
